Haven't seen any updates on this yet...does that mean that it has been dropped, or is it still being considered?? It would be such a blessing to be able to use the commissary since the area that I am in, the prices are so much better on base!!! Thanks for any responses that may be of help!
I am told that this is something that comes up every year, and every year it gets swept under the rug. This is a no brainer, and should be given to any disabled veteran who is service connected. This is good for the disabled veteran their family who also suffer and the base PX or commissary. What is to think about???
I was on the fast track of my career- E-5 in three years, E-6 in six years and then medical board on year 7. I wanted to continue but was boarded out with 50%. I didn't want out but had to leave. Though honorable, I can't use the PX or commissary? Not my fault for discharge...So why am I being punished? I would love to hear about our disabled men and women allotted the privilege of PX and commissary use.
